Marketing Content Creator

H2 Marketing & Branding is an innovative, full-service agency with big clients and big ideas. Most of our team works remotely, but we still find plenty of time to meet in person to brainstorm ideas and collaborate on projects. We expect our interns to work on assigned projects both on their own and in their arranged team meetings and worksession (at least two times per week.) 


We are looking for a responsible, deadline-driven, creative and motivated Marketing & Branding Intern to work with our team on a wide-variety of client accounts. This intern will use their eagerness and natural enthusiasm to learn and assist the marketing team will all tasks involved in developing and executing the client’s marketing, branding and business strategies. 


Responsibilities: 

  1. Assist team with client campaigns, marketing plans and operational function to our company’s standards.
  2. Assist with the coordination and creation of various marketing and branding materials including social media posts, business cards, print ads, website designs, press releases, client reports and presentations. 
  3. Participate in ongoing marketing and business strategy development, media training sessions, presentations and brainstorming sessions. 
  4. Gain general knowledge of each client’s marketing and branding strategy. 
  5. Apply your knowledge of the client’s products and brand to the development of a customized marketing strategy. 
  6. Help with the development of business strategies that meet the client’s needs and closes sales. 
  7. Gain a general understanding of the sales pipeline to help increase sales through brand marketing. 
  8. Help develop innovative approaches that improve client service efficiency. 
  9. Assist the team with the preparation of client proposals, reports and presentations. 


Requirements / Skills: 

  1. Junior or Senior level college student majoring in sales, marketing, communications,  advertising, public relations or a related field. 
  2. Understanding of basic marketing techniques. 
  3. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 
  4. Excellent organizational and planning skills. 
  5. Attention to details. 
  6. Self-motivated and results driven. 
  7. Excellent time management skills. 
  8. Ability to adhere to a schedule, meet deadlines and prioritize in a changing environment.
  9. Work some nights and weekends for events and promotions. 
  10. Ability to work individually and on a team. 


Compensation:

While this internship is unpaid at the onset, there is the opportunity for advancement and compensation upon your 90-day review.
